Hill Women’s Federation
Hill Women’s Federation (HWF) is youth women wing organisation of the Parbatya Chattgram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) struggling for rights to self-determination in Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh. The HWF was founded on 8 March 1988 with aim to establish exploitation and class-free society.
The Central Representative Conference of the HWF, which is convened every 3 years, is the supreme body of the organisation which elects a Central Committee accountable to it. The Central Committee is the highest organ of the HWF during the interval between two Central Representative Conferences.
The HWF has branches in the educational institutions at university, college and school level. Besides, it has also organisations in three hill districts and thanas (upazilas) in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT).
At present, Ms. Meosing Marma is the president of the HWF while Ms. Nishi Dewan Chakma and Ms. Chanchana Chakma are working as acting member-secretary and organising secretary of the HWF respectively. The contact address of the HWF is as follows:
