Demonstration by PCP across the Country
A demonstration was held across the country protesting the gang rape and killing of Naobai Marma (28), wife of Suisapru Marma, from Mohamunipara village under the Manikchhari upazila of Khagrachhari District.
In Rangamati, this protesting demonstration was held in front of the DC Office, Rangamati organized by Hill Students ’ Council (PCP), Rangamati district branch and Hill Women’s Federation (HWF), Rangamati district branch where Mr. Fodangtang Randal, President of PCP, Rangamati district branch was presided over and Mr. Paplu Chakma, Finance Secretary of PCP, Rangamati district branch, Mr. Antik Chakma, Organising Secretary of PCP, Rangamati city branch, Mr. Rono Chakma, President of PCP, Rangamati College branch, Miss Jonaki Chakma, President of HWF, Rangamati district branch, Mr. Trijinad Chakma, Information and Publicity Secretary of PCP, Central Committee, Mr. Sarat Jyoti Chakma, Asst. Secretary of PCJSS, Rangamati district branch were delivered speeches in that program.
In Dhaka, a procession was organized at Oporajeyo Bangla, Dhaka University organized by PCP, Dhaka Metropolitan Branch where Mr. Ning Toai Marma, Asst. Secretary of PCP, DMP branch was presided over and Mr.Karington Chakma, Member of PCP, DMP branch, Mr. Jamson Amlai, member of PCP, DMP branch, Taiaung Marma, Former President of BMSC, DMP branch, Mr. Sanchayan Tripura, Asst. President of TSF, DMP branch, Mr. Harendranath Sing, President of Jatiyo Adivasi Chhatra Parisad, Miss Chanchana Chakma, Organising Secretary of HWF, Central Committee, Mr. Avijoy Chakma, student of BUET were delivered speeches in that program.
In Chittagong, a human Chain was held at Saheed Buddhijibi Chattar, Chittagong University Campus organized by PCP, CU branch where Mr. Ajit Chakma, Asst. President of PCP, CU branch and Mr. Basu Mitra Chakma, General Secretary of PCP, Chittagong Metropolitan branch, Mr. Diganta Tripura, President of TSF, CU branch, Mr. Prabal Majumder, President of Somajtantrik Chhattra Front, CU branch were delivered speeches over there.
The speakers all together in that programs demanded for the right judgment of it and stop such kinds of incidents and killings in all indigenous inhabited regions of Bangladesh.
